1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to warpdev.co and the documentation, support, product, and feedback pages provided through this website. It does not govern third-party stores, game platforms, or websites that have their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, attachments you choose to send, and any technical or product information you include. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, private project files, or other sensitive information.
Technical information
Our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically process basic request information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, requested page, referring page, and request date and time. This information is commonly used to deliver the site, maintain security, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse.
Site preferences
The documentation stores your light or dark theme selection in your browser's local storage. This preference remains on your device unless you clear it.
3. How we use information
We may use information for the following purposes:
- Responding to support requests, questions, and bug reports.
- Operating, securing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the website.
- Improving products, documentation, and support materials.
- Preventing spam, fraud, misuse, and other harmful activity.
- Complying with legal obligations and protecting legal rights.
4. Cookies and local storage
Warpdev does not currently use advertising cookies or analytics trackers on this website. The documentation uses local storage only to remember your theme preference. Embedded or linked third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies.
Because Warpdev does not track visitors across third-party websites for advertising, browser Do Not Track signals do not change the site's current behavior.
5. Third-party services
The website uses or links to services operated by other companies:
- Google Fonts: the main website requests font files from Google. Google may receive technical request information such as your IP address and browser details. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- StrawPoll: the Tidal feedback page embeds a poll hosted by StrawPoll. Loading or using that poll may allow StrawPoll to collect information under its Privacy Policy.
- Unity Asset Store, Steam, and other platforms: product purchases, downloads, accounts, payments, and activity on those platforms are handled by the platform operator under its own privacy terms.
Warpdev does not control how third parties collect or use information. You should review their policies before using their services.
6. When information may be disclosed
We may disclose information to vendors that help host, secure, or operate the website; when required by law or a valid legal request; to protect Warpdev, users, or the public; or as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets.
Warpdev does not sell personal information for money and does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Retention and security
We retain support correspondence and related information only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain support history, improve products, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary based on the nature of the request.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no website, email system, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability for personal information we hold about you. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or contact your local data protection authority.
To submit a request, contact us using the email below and describe the information or request involved. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You can clear the documentation theme preference at any time through your browser's site-data settings.
9. Children's privacy
This website is not directed to children under 13, and Warpdev does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
10. International visitors
Warpdev and its service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be revised when an update is posted. Material changes may also be highlighted on the website.
